Wow...nothing makes me happier right now than to look into my beautiful daughters eyes and say I LOVE YOU. God has blessed us with two beautiful children.....one who took a long time to enter into this world and one who popped out almost before we made it to the hospital.
This morning at 5am I told RD that my contractions had started and were 5-7 minutes apart...but they were mild...I said maybe you should just go to work and I will call you. Good thing he didn't cause by 8am they were intense.....by 8:30 they were 2 minutes apart and I said pack the truck quick....we have to go and at least see what is going on. by 8:50am we were on our way to the hospital and I really felt like she wanted out. We arrived at the hospital at 9:10am and they wheeled me right into the delivery room....at 9:13am. I heard the nurse say I think we will have to do this the old fashioned way...meaning.....no time for drugs, a gown on, or IV hook up. I got on the bed...the Doctor sat down....2 pushes and her head was out...2 more and she was right in front of me. I could hardly believe my eyes....it all happened so fast...just like in the movies when a mother has a baby in the taxi...LOL. I feel blessed to have made it to the hospital, have a wonderful supportive husband..( even though he told me he wanted 1/2 hr more to sleep in this morning cause he thought this might be another marathon baby), a wonderful son that can't wait to meet his new little sister, my mom for caring for Noah while we went to the hospital....family and friends who kept us in there prayers during this whole thing and for an amazing powerful GOD who gave me the strength and courage to birth my beautiful new girl. I called to HIM on the way into the hospital...out loud and HIS timing was perfect.....absolutely perfect.....I really don't think I would have done well...having that baby in the truck....LOL
This was a great sight...didn't think I would see RD in the kitchen baking....highlight for sure
Mmmmmm
Noah felt the need to chainsaw the tree a bit more
our ECO-friendly tree
This year has brought us joy watching our wonderful little 2 yr old Noah learn and grow....with a great sense of humor and a loving heart. He has taught us patience as well a perserverance.....all great things to learn. His love for helping with everything we do is inspiring.....even when the messes occur....LOL....
I love it when I am standing on a chair 9 months pregnant and I hear his sweet little voice say " careful Mommy" or when he see's RD putting wood in the fire...he says " careful Daddy" Mmmm the sound of his little voice caring the way he does is priceless.....
Recently Noah has moved into his own room and loves it....we had to start making room for our new little bundle of love....
Over this past year we have enjoyed watching Noah and his love for chainsaws, back pack vacuums, big trucks and leaf blowers...not the average kids toys...but thanks to watching Daddy....he has found some new loves...and to YOUTUBE....for making it possible to see many others liking the same thing. He loves golfball painting..making Christmas cookies.....playing with his friends and doing any kind of project with us.
We love you all and hope that this coming year brings you blessings beyond imagine.
