Today we brought home 2 goldfish. Noah named his Happy and Emily named hers Jackie. Unfortunately by the time I wrote this post Jackie has already passed away. We had a short service for the little guy with the kids and burried her. After we had gone in, I looked out the window to see Emily over where Jackie was burried sitting on her lawn chair. I went over and asked what she was doing. She said she was singing Jackie a lullaby. Children are just so precious. Why can't we be more like them I thought. Happy is still going strong and with us as of July 15. Also one morning I came to feed the fish and saw a black piece of plastic with a wax benderoo attached to it and then attached to the fish tank. I asked Noah what that was and he said, "Oh mom...that is so the fish can have music all night and not feel alone." I love, love, love our kids.
